Fall is all about changing. The leaves begin to change color, and the weather gets colder. There are so many things you can do with your partner during the fall season. Here are 15+ fall date ideas for every couple this season.

A List of 15 Fall Date Ideas!
1) Fall Apple Picking
Love being outdoors? Going apple picking is a great fall date idea. The scenery is beautiful with the different fall leaves, and usually, the orchards have various activities happening (making Apple Cider, tours, etc.)
Plus after you pick the apples you get to take them home! This also leads to my next date idea…
2) Make Fall Bake Goods
With the apples you pick (or bought at the grocery store) you can bake all kinds of stuff; apple crumbles, candy apples, and the famous apple pie! Another baked good you can make is pumpkin pie, cinnamon rolls.
It’s fun to see your partner in the kitchen and putting their baking skills to the test.
3) Going to a Fall Pumpkin Patch

Going to a pumpkin patch has to be by the far the top favorite place for couples to go to. Take some cute couple photos and pick out a pumpkin! Plus you can take it home, and carve out your pumpkins together. It’s fun although a messy date!
4) Check out Fall Festivals
Between Late September and Until Halloween, different cities around you may be hosting fall festivals. Where you can shop for locally grown produce, hayrides, carnival games, and pumpkin carving contest. This is a great first date for couples who don’t want their first date to be in a restaurant.
5) Binge Watch Halloween Movies

Have a Halloween themed movie marathon! Your marathon could include; Halloween town, Casper the Friendly Ghost, Ghostbusters, Hocus Pocus, or a movie of your choice. Grab some popcorn, Halloween cookies, candy corn, a warm blanket, and cuddle up together while spending the day watching movies.
6) Go to a Haunted House
If you’re okay with getting scared, you and your date can go together into a haunted house! Plus if you enjoy the outdoors, there is a haunted tour, where you walk down a pathway or even a maze! This date idea is great if you want to get a bit closer with your date and plus have a good laugh.
This is also a great idea if you wanted to go on a group date with some friends.
7) Go on a Hiking Trail

Going on a hike during Fall can be beautiful because you get to see the orange, red, and yellow leaves. Also, this is a great date idea if you wanted to know more about your date! You won’t have the hustling and bustling of the city and less time on your phones. By far one of my favorite fall date ideas to do with my fiance.
8) Coffee Date

A nice, cozy coffee date is everyone’s favorite date idea go-to. Spend some quality time while trying the Fall limited edition drinks. Take this time to get to know each other. 9) Go on a Bike Ride
This one is great for couples who are active and enjoy the outdoors. Grab your bikes or even rent some, and then go for a ride! If you live in the city, try and search for places where you are able to bike ride with great scenery. Then after you can always catch a quick bite somewhere.
10) Shop for Halloween/Fall Decorations
If you and your partner live together, go out and buy Halloween/Fall decorations for your place. Homesense, Homegoods, and Target have great Halloween/Fall decorations going on from September until the end of October.
11) Go to an Amusement Park
In the last few years, amusement parks have changed their fun summer park into a spooky Halloween theme park during the month of October. In addition to the normal perks, you would get at the amusement park, you would also see fun Halloween activities. Such as; haunted houses, corn mazes, staff dressed up in costumes, live Halloween events.
This is a great date idea if you wanted to go as a group or you like going to the amusement park in the summer.
12) Have a Bonfire
Grab some; blankets, graham crackers, marshmallows, chocolate, and create some smores! This is a very simple date idea who wants to chill, relax, and look at the stars at night.
13) Visit a Farmers Market
Drive-by to your local farmers’ markets and pick out some fresh local and in-season produce. vegetables, fruits, or even support some locally own stores! You can then make this another date by cooking together. (Similar to my last date idea!). Search for a recipe together and try to recreate it.
This saves you money from going out to fancy restaurants and plus you can make anything you want!
14) Have a Photoshoot
I think you might have caught on that I am OBSESSED with the fall leaves! I just admire how the colors change and how they look in photos. Take this opportunity for both of you to have a Fall photoshoot! Either DIY the photoshoot or hire someone!
Plus you get to keep the photos and post them on your social media, or even print them out!
15) Drive-in Movie Theater
Drive-in theaters typically close before the snowfall comes. Take the opportunity to go one last time before they closed. You can sneak in your own snacks, bring some blankets. This is better than having to go to a regular movie theatre. Plus you can talk in your normal voice (Which you might not will).
16) Rent a Cabin for The Weekend

If you have been with your partner for a while and have some money to splurge. Take a trip up north and rent out a cabin for the weekend. This is a great romantic weekend away from friends, family, and the outside world.
17) Go Star Gazing
Take this time to snuggle up with your date and watch the stars. Sometimes the simplest dates are the best ones!
18) Build a Fort!
Raise your hand if you ever built a fort when you were younger? It doesn’t have to stop then, we can still make building a fort a cozy date night! Grab some blankets, pillows, chairs, and build yourself a fort! You can add in some snacks and play a movie on your laptop.
19) Attend a Halloween Party
This is a great excuse to wear matching costumes. Head up to your local store and find costumes, then go to a Halloween party.
You can go as a couple or even as a group. Bonus! You can even host your own Halloween party! Remember to take photos!
20) Horseback Riding
Find a local stable or even go for a drive to find one. You may have to pay a small fee but this is a great opportunity to see the fall leaves and spend some quality time together.
21) Go on a Train Ride!
Like I mentioned before, having a chance to see the leaves changing is a must! If you enjoy traveling and you don’t want to take a plane, why not take a train ride? Taking the train cost way less, and plus you can go somewhere for the weekend if you wanted to!
